Don’t risk shortening the life of your new motor! For maximum protection, we strongly recommend using our exclusive Filtered Motor Gasket (Part # MTR1500). This gasket filters out dust and debris before they reach the motor, preventing internal damage and extending motor life.

Our filtered gasket:

  • Is exclusive to Central Vacuum Factory
  • Fits flush with no added mounting height
  • Installs as easily as a standard gasket
  • Provides superior filtration and long-term protection

For a standard gasket option, see Part # MTR512.

Recommended Motor Filter

To further extend the life of your motor, use a protective motor filter. This prevents dust and dirt from entering the fan system and is highly recommended for all vacuum motors.

Installation note:

Over-tightening of the mounting screws may cause the fan casing to push into the fan blades and may damage the fans.  This situation is not covered under the Motor Warranty Program and will not be approved if submitted.  If motor is turned in under warranty and is found to have the type of damage explained above, the warranty will be denied.  When mounting your new motor, in most cases a touch BEYOND “finger tight” is all that is required to mount and seat the motor sufficiently.
