This specially designed Filtered Motor Gasket combines the best of a high quality gasket with the finest motor filtration available!
Fits 4.3″, 4.8″, 5.1″, 5.7″, 7.2″, 7.5″ and 8.4″ inch diameter motors and measures approximately 5.2″ wide and .38″ thick.
The gasket:
This flat motor gasket is of the highest quality neoprene and designed to last for years. It is crafted to be heat resistant and does not dry and crack like cheap motor gaskets do. The cheap Chinese motor gaskets sold by all other companies will break down over time due to heat and allow leakage and may cause damage to your motor! DON’T RISK THIS!
Always replace the motor gasket when you replace your vacuum motor! This provides a tight seal for the motor which eliminates air leaks as well as absorption of motor vibration allowing the motor to perform smoothly and safely.
The filter:
The specially designed micron filter will NOT diminish your motors performance!
Motors need to be protected from dust and dirt entering them. It is crucial that only clean air is taken into the motors. This protects any buildup of dust and dirt on the fan blades increasing the life of the motor. This buildup blocks the fans from flowing air properly and greatly diminishes performance of your vacuum system, not to mention leading to motor failure.
Ametek Lamb specifically states in their warranty information that “typical signs of abuse includes dirty motors, failure of which was (or is) caused by inadequate filtration will NOT be considered in-warranty failures”. In other words, it is required to adequately protect the fan blades of the motor from dirt and debris or risk being out of warranty.
Our Filtered Motor Gasket is the only one of its kind! Specially designed by our engineers to provide your motor with years of trouble free service! Don’t risk premature motor failure. Our filter will not add any height to your motor during mounting. The filtered motor gasket fits flush and is as easy to apply as a regular gasket. Simply peel off the adhesive backing and apply it directly to the bottom intake portion of your motor. Be sure that the you line up the filtered portion of the motor gasket directly over the intake hole of your motor.
