Description
This is a factory replacement motor for your Thermax Terminator CP-5 Vacuum Motor, 120 volt. Fits machines from 2008 and beyond. This motor measures 5.7 inches diameter and is narrower than the older standard vacuum motor used prior to 2008. NOTE: THIS IS THE MOTOR FOR THE CURRENT MACHINE. IF YOUR CP-5 IS OLDER THAN A 2008 THIS MOTOR WILL NOT FIT! YOU MUST ORDER MOTOR MTR1352.
This motor has sealed bearings in it so dust and dirt will not get into the system. This allows for a longer motor life.
It is suggested you replace the motor gasket part # MTR512
Protect your motors from dust and dirt by using a motor filter. This prolongs the life of your motor and is a must for all motors. See our part # MTR553

The substituted motor will be a manufacturer’s direct recommended replacement motor that is in factory new condition. The reason for substitution may be due to a discontinued motor or lack of production stock. We make every effort to provide you with the motor that you originally ordered. Installation note:
Over-tightening of the mounting screws may cause the fan casing to push into the fan blades and may damage the fans. This situation is not covered under the Motor Warranty Program and will not be approved if submitted. If motor is turned in under warranty and is found to have the type of damage explained above, the warranty will be denied. When mounting your new motor, in most cases a touch BEYOND “finger tight” is all that is required to mount and seat the motor sufficiently.
