Description
This is the replacement Electrolux Upright Vacuum Suction Motor. Motor may also be labeled also as 62078-1, 117080-00, or 104957. This motor replaces the manufacturer model 6900-03 and may mount slightly different.
THIS IS THE SUCTION ONLY MOTOR.
Fits most Electrolux Discovery Style uprights with the Exhaust filters on the side of the vacuums that were manufactured in the mid 1980’s to present. This motor WILL NOT fit those units that have the exhaust filters on the front of the vacuum.

Installation note:
Over-tightening of the mounting screws may cause the fan casing to push into the fan blades and may damage the fans. This situation is not covered under the Motor Warranty Program and will not be approved if submitted. If motor is turned in under warranty and is found to have the type of damage explained above, the warranty will be denied. When mounting your new motor, in most cases a touch BEYOND “finger tight” is all that is required to mount and seat the motor sufficiently.
