RF915 Central Vacuum Wireless Receiver – Low Voltage Replacement Solution

The RF915 Central Vacuum Wireless Receiver provides a reliable solution for homes where the original central vacuum low voltage wiring is missing, damaged, disconnected, or no longer functioning properly. Instead of repairing or replacing low voltage wiring throughout the home, the RF915 wireless system allows compatible hoses, remote controls, and accessories to communicate wirelessly with the central vacuum power unit.

This receiver is the heart of the RF915 wireless central vacuum system. In most installations, only one RF915 receiver is required per home. The receiver is typically installed near the central vacuum power unit and connects to the vacuum’s low voltage terminals. Once installed and paired with compatible RF915 accessories, it allows the central vacuum motor to be turned on and off wirelessly.

Ideal Solution for Failed Central Vacuum Low Voltage Wiring

Traditional central vacuum systems use low voltage wiring running from the wall inlet valves back to the central vacuum unit. If that wiring becomes damaged, disconnected, or inaccessible, the vacuum may no longer turn on when the hose is inserted or switched on.

The RF915 wireless central vacuum receiver offers an alternative to opening walls, tracing damaged wires, or installing new low voltage cable. It is especially useful for older homes, remodeling projects, finished basements, large homes, and central vacuum installations where repairing the original control wiring would be difficult or expensive.

How the RF915 Wireless Central Vacuum System Works

The RF915 system uses wireless radio frequency communication to send an on/off signal to the central vacuum unit. The system can be used with a compatible RF915 electric central vacuum hose with transmitter or an RF915 remote fob-style controller.

Additional RF915 accessories are available for specialized installations. An RF915 Automitter can be used with compatible automatic dustpan or kick-vac inlet applications. For extremely large homes or installations where additional wireless range is needed, an RF915 signal repeater may also be used to help extend the communication range.

RF915 Receiver Features

  • Wireless solution for damaged or missing central vacuum low voltage wiring
  • Designed for use with the RF915 central vacuum wireless control system
  • Typically requires only one receiver per central vacuum system
  • Connects to the central vacuum power unit using the existing low voltage terminals
  • Plugs into a standard 110-volt electrical outlet
  • Can be paired with up to 10 compatible RF915 hoses or transmitters
  • Works with compatible RF915 wireless electric central vacuum hoses
  • Can be used with compatible RF915 remote fob transmitters
  • Compatible RF915 Automitter available for kick-vac or automatic dustpan applications
  • Optional signal repeater available for larger homes and extended-range installations

Flexible Receiver Installation

The RF915 receiver is commonly mounted near the central vacuum power unit for convenient access to both the low voltage connection and a standard electrical outlet. However, the receiver may be installed in another suitable location as long as a functioning low voltage wire connection is available between the receiver and the central vacuum unit.

This flexibility makes the RF915 system an excellent choice when the low voltage wiring problem is located elsewhere in the home but the wiring near the vacuum power unit remains accessible.

A Simple Alternative to Rewiring Your Central Vacuum System

If your central vacuum will not turn on because of a broken low voltage connection, the problem does not always require running new wires through walls. The RF915 central vacuum wireless conversion system provides a convenient way to restore remote on/off control while continuing to use your existing central vacuum power unit and piping system.

Whether you are repairing an older built-in vacuum system, upgrading a central vacuum installation, or troubleshooting damaged control wiring, the RF915 receiver can provide a practical and dependable wireless central vacuum solution.
