Classified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a “probable human carcinogen” – formaldehyde exposure causes irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat and may aggravate existing respiratory conditions. The HealthMate Plus absorbs and contains formaldehyde odors along with symptom-triggering allergens and other airborne odors.

The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Air Purifier uses Austin Air’s signature 360-degree progressive filtering system to remove the most symptom-aggravating allergens, odors, and chemicals from your home. With normal use, you may see changes in your allergies, asthma issues, and reduced reactions to chemical sensitivity or the Healthmate Plus may even eliminate them all together. The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Air Purifier system pulls in the air in the room from all sides of the air cleaner. This air then passes through a 4-stage HEPA/carbon combination filter and is blown back out into your room using the Clean Air Pocket vent.
